Matai starts the day with his first encounter with a Christmas Beetle ~
He crawls on top of it, where everyone lets out a shout,
And it promptly attaches itself to his little thumb and won't be removed!
After (removal and) cuddles and soothing, Matai feels much better
By the time Nanny Gateau and Din arrive
And he is sandwiched between Pangu and Nanny Gateau during lunch
Where they each give him all the attention he craves... and more some!
Finally, we visit Avoca Beach
Where he pushes around sand,
And gets characteristically Bootal with Mummy's nipple.
