Poor little Matai has a tumble in the shops today,
Cracking his head on a seat and becoming a Klingon.
He is still his happy self though,
And loves tickles and hugs with Bandoo, as well as Dolly.

And just as obsessed by the kids in the TV room,
Spending all his time running between the table and there
While people tell Mummy and Daddy how cute he is.

After watching, fascinated, while the kids dance at Tom's christening after-party
Matai gets the stars in his eyes, and suddenly, for the audience
Runs towards them with his little bare chest inflated, arms triumphantly in the air,
Before persistently dancing alongside the big kids, unbidden
And trying to breakdance too !

When he insists on walking up the hill by himself on our bushwalk...

(Even if carved out of rockface!)
And a swing to share with his much-loved Daddy.

And walks the rocks, exploring, and pointing in fascination at the passing boats;
