And opens his mouth in readiness to start his nightly before-bed chat...

This morning Miro decides to teach Matai to read

Alas, Matai learns not-much-useful
Given that Q-Queen is described as "Mummy" ! (blush!)

Goo snuggles up with any toy you throw at him
When he's nestled into his little throne~
But particularly likes Lamby for her softy ears
And waves her about like a hand puppet.
Here, he watches Happy Feet with Miro
But shortly after this photo, gives Mummy a sweet knowing smile
And lets her know that he was never watching Happy Feet at all...

Daddy shoves him under an ice cold shower
And he spends the rest of the meal snuggled into jumpers,

Are viewed through a filter of raincover and half-sleepy eyes;
Wet socks and Slip Inn chip smells.
But once at Archie and Rose's place
Matai settles down for quiet cuddles

And tonight, wants to undress him, successfully removing his nappy,
Much to Matai's eternal happiness at losing his pants.
Then, after the warm and goo-ey bath, Matai is all smiles and gurgles
While Miro and Daddy put a fresh nappy on,
And pyjama him, together, for bed.

Because he smiles and laughs every time she tells him "Goo!"
However, today, the mention of Goo only makes Matai awkward
And he screws up his face and cries at it !

Matai accompanies Mummy and Daddy to Newtown
Where, by virtue of him sitting in a cafe in a sling,
He becomes a Designer Baby
And therefore must be hunted out of Newtown :)
