And earlier, Miro dedicatedly "peeding" Matai
With fishbits until his tears disappear.

DJ Matai cranking the radio with Nanny and Leelee,
A delighted smile from ear to ear
As the sound deafens the little kitchen.
And later, ooh-ing until we take him into the garden
Where he pushes the trolley, and watches the passing planes.

Matai is SO content every time he gets to vaccuum
And despite the serious, proud expression,
A little smile quirks at the corners of his mouth
Each time he successfully whisks up a morsel.
Always eager to learn, he watches Miro constantly,
And in the second photo, his expression shows
The perplexity with which he tries to nut out big brother's behaviour!
Finally, in the car, letting Miro sleep a few more minutes,
Tai plays at driving the car, and delights at leaning out the window
And peering at Mummy in the mirror.

Afternoon in the park.
Tai crawling up the slippery dip the wrong way,
Singing "lalaLA!" wherever he walks,
And grabbing Mummy's hand to help him practice
Walking up the hill over and over again
(And running DOWN, of course!)

The boys find the keyboard and microphone in the toy shop
And form their own band. Miro sings and Tai plays keyboard
(And when Miro leaves, Matai picks up the microphone and sings as well!)
After there's smiles and pats for
Delightful puppies in the petshop.

Afternoon tea at Granny and Pop's
With icecreams and cakes and cups of tea
Leave the boys in a state of excitement.
A lovely time had by all!
Earlier that day, we have lunch at Norah Head
And play in the park Mummy loved when she was two.

A trip to Killcare brings giggles
As Matai naughtily runs fully clothed into the water
And explores the rocks with his brother.

Tonight, after baths and snuggly dressing gowns,
During Daddy's telling of picture books,
Mummy hands a nounou to Miro, and Matai looks up
As if to say "what about mine?"
So we give him one too. He thinks it's rather funny,
And doesn't trust his mouth to keep it in. He has to keep holding it there,
Before finally deciding that
He likes popping it into other people's mouths better.

And the big boats gliding into the Bay.

At Paulee's birthday celebration
Little Tai loves grinding and showing his four pearly teeth,
Is hoisted high by the birthday boy,
Walks haltingly and tumblingly in his babystep gait,
Adores kisses from Mummy,
And demands milk at every turn !

From the sheer glee of having a Ruppert to pat, get licked by, and chase through the house
